Treatments

The objective behind all treatments is to restore a balanced flow of energy in the body. The combination of classic Oriental medicine, powerful alternative treatments and common-sense life style adjustments are the doorway towards genuine healing of illness and disease. Following is a description of the various treatments utilized at the clinic:

INITIAL CONSULTATION
Understanding the whole person is an essential first step in the healing process. An in depth initial consultation discussing life-style, stress, nutritional habits, previous ailments and many other factors can determine how and what treatments will take place.

ACUPUNCTURE & ORIENTAL MEDICINE
Considered one of the most powerful and effective therapies to restore balance to the body, Acupuncture and Oriental medicine are a timeless system that understands how to treat the body as a field of energy. They identify the pathways or meridians in which energy travels and activate the various points where the meridians come to the surface through the use of needles or other methods. This process can unblock and energize the channels, restoring flow and vitality. The use of traditional oriental herbal medicine that has been used for over two thousand years is an integral part of the healing process. Herbal medicine helps treat chronic illness by activation blood and Qi (Energy) circulation and balancing internal organs.

KINESIOLOGY
Kinesiology is a diagnostic and healing tool that is used in combination with other therapies at Dr. Kim's clinic. It is a technique consisting of manual muscle testing in which the patient attempts to resist a force applied against a muscle. The strength or weakness of the muscle is determined by a particular stimulus (such as a type of food or chemical) and gives the practitioner an insight into the effect of the substances on the nervous system and brain. The muscles strength or weakness "communicate" important information that is otherwise not consciously available to the patient.

ALLERGY ELIMINATION
Allergies can be simply annoying and in many cases debilitating and life threatening. Often, the source of allergic reactioins are unknown and a lack of energy or constant illness remains unidentified for many years. At Dr. Kim's clinic, a combination of Kinesiology, chiropractic adjustments and nutritional testing can quickly identify allergies and eliminate them, often in just a few sessions.

LIVE BLOOD ANALYSIS (Not for diagnosis)
A blood sample is put under the micropscoope and viewed on a computer screen. Invaluable information is obtained by analyzing the condition of the blood, for example: the presence of cardiovascular diseasae, nutritional imbalances and the presence of heavy metals or toxins can all be immediately detected.

HOMEOPATHY
The power of Homeopathy is the phenomenon of cure by similars, where a substance that could produce disease in a healthy person is used to trigger a healing response in someone with a similar disease. Very small dosages are used which incredibly, are more effective in bringing about a healing response.
